About our TCP GmbH
Since 1978, our company based in Mülheim an der Ruhr has specialized in computer-controlled furniture design. This makes us one of the pioneers of professional computer graphics worldwide.
Our customers currently include well-known furniture manufacturers from Europe and America.
In addition to the order-related planning of furniture commissions in cooperation with ERP systems, which our customers carry out with the main product of the planning system “TCP”, we offer additional accompanying and supporting products.
Especially important to us is the close cooperation with specialized ERP system providers.
Our budding customers receive intensive advice from us. We present our products in detail or conduct multi-day workshops.
Depending on the orientation of the customer, we can show what fast order capture could look like for large series manufacturers. On the other hand, there is the detailed planning elaboration that is customary in manufacturing companies for architects’ planning. With each customer we develop the appropriate processing depth and explain the simple change management and the automation, the individual aids and macro possibilities.
We will demonstrate TCP through the various stages of the graphical order processing and explain how the TCP approach provides significant cost savings. These cost savings are one of the main benefits of TCP.
For all products, we offer a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis with regard to the processes of our customers. We also show solutions for the process organization – also gladly together with our partners for an efficient and powerful overall system.
We can map the special requirements for a planning solution on the basis of our standard. This is the biggest feature of our highly flexible product. Many software products for use by institutional and professional users are highly customized through custom programming. This leads to big problems with software updates (version problem). This does not apply to TCP. TCP is always the same standard software for all applications and customers, but it can be customized by “external means”. This has the advantage that the basic software can be replaced but always remains compatible with the individual adjustments. These adjustments are in the simplest case the graphical furniture master data. But also rules, automatisms, configurations and tables are always preserved. This system has been successfully tested for more than 20 years. Thus, today’s TCP can still read plans that were created 20 years ago.
There are very few ERP system providers in the field of the variant-rich furniture industry. We have been working intensively and trustingly with the most successful in this industry for more than three decades for the benefit of our customers.

Our project staff and project managers are extensively trained and certified in specialist training courses (GPM – German Association for Project Management).
We carry out the projects according to predefined procedure models, and we ensure a daily updated project and change management. This includes both our part as well as the services of our customers in the project, and we are happy to help other project partners in the coordination of the overall project during the software implementation.
How our customers license our products is flexible. Based on three basic models, this can be customized.
The easiest and fastest way is to gradually acquire licenses for the software by purchasing it as part of the implementation project.
Another method is the financing directly by our TCP GmbH, without involving banks. This allows a longer agreement on the term and does not affect the rating of our client.
In addition, the rent of the software is possible.
Which form of license acquisition suits best for a specific customer of our products can be discussed in a consultation with our sales department.
