Appliance cabinet finder
A must have …
Quick reduction to the right models
The appliances planner simplifies an important function that is often one of the most costly work steps in modern kitchen manufacturers.
Kitchen manufacturers today have to plan a large number of built-in appliances available on the market into appliances cabinets. In the course of time, a myriad of such cabinets are created that the clerks hardly have an overview of. Therefore, it often happens that such a cabinet is newly designed and created, although it is already in the fund in a usable form. In order not to create these cabinets again and again with a lot of effort, already existing ones should be found so that the total number of such equipment cabinets remains manageable.
Therefore, TCP offers a appliances finder. On the one hand, this processes the large number of built-in cabinets in the work prep. dept. and, on the other hand, combines these with the 70,000 to 80,000 devices available on the market. Each device has up to 150 properties that must be taken into account when selecting a niche. These millions of checks are carried out by TCP in real time parallel to the ongoing input of the user in order to then find the handful of device modifications that match the entered pattern.
The clerk makes the final selection, if there is still one.

Code aggregation
All TCP articles are composed of features that are described as simple text codes line by line. It is possible to create these text codes manually as a file or to store them in the ERP system. But most of the articles and objects that can be planned are put together automatically by translating the information and characteristics from the description in the ERP system into this TCP codes. The article description is transmitted via the two-way interface between the systems. In the same way, such codes are changed or transmitted with every change (both by TCP and by the ERP system). In this way, all operations are carried out synchronously between the systems in real time.
This concept also applies without restriction to the conversion and special cabinets. Regardless of whether such an object consists of 10 characteristics or several hundred characteristics, the interaction between the ERP system and the device planner creates the device conversion cabinet that is right in every detail. The cabinet created and parameterized in this way can then be planned like a standard item by the ERP system and graphically displayed in TCP and changed at any time.

Creation of onversion cabinets
In order to be able to create new conversion cabinets for the appliances planner, it was only logical to offer an integrated tool for this.
With article entry for the appliances planner, work preparation dept. can systematically create the required, not yet available conversion and special cabinets.

The conversion cabinets created in this way are then created in the form of the TCP item description as an aggregation of codes.

We also offer the full functionality of the appliances planner for managing and finding the right appliance cabinet for separate use.
The appliance cabinets are imported in a proprietary manner so that they can be used with the appliances planner. There is no connection to the ERP system and any other planning solution that may be available. But the transfer of the name of the appropriate cabinet is then ready in the copy / paste buffer.

There are different companies that collect the appliances data. This is a major logistical task that is also very labor-intensive, as there are a large number of device manufacturers at here and abroad. This data must then be processed, standardized and made available in this standardized form.
In order to be able to use the appliances planner, a delivery contract for this data must be concluded with such a company.
