The division of labor between the ERP system and TCP is ideal. On the one hand, many companies already have an ERP system in use that can not be exchanged if a graphics system is added. On the other hand, there are only a few ERP providers who can offer an adequate graphics system at the same time. Therefore, it was obvious to us not to offer our own order processing system, but instead to offer a possibly perfect connection to existing ERP systems.
With the TCP interface, we have succeeded in establishing a standard that could easily be implemented today by every ERP provider for the connection of TCP.
A great benefit of this approach is the avoidance of duplicate data storage, because the variant master data are only in the ERP system, so that they do not have to be in stock in the TCP environment. This greatly reduces confusion in data maintenance.
